My therapy work is for those who want to find alignment in their life, heal from intergenerational or ancestral wounds, and reclaim part of themselves that they’ve lost due to their mental health struggles.
I integrate evidence-based interventions with the growing body of literature on decolonizing mental health and liberation psychology by BIPOC researchers.
Hello, My name is Dr. Madeline Ofina. I have a Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology, and my focus is helping members of the BIPOC community heal, find a deeper alignment in their life, and thrive. I have a particular interest in working with adult children of immigrants.
My work is integrative and is informed by evidence-based modalities such as Mindfulness, Person-Centered, Multicultural, Spiritual, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My work also integrates knowledge from indigenous philosophy, spirituality, ethnopolitical psychology, liberation psychology, and the power of reclaiming connection to our culture and community.
